Our History
The New Zealand-owned arm of the worldwide network was established in 1992 and later purchased by current chairman and owner Charles Tarbey in February 2012. Click here to read Charles Tarbey's profile.
Prior to forming Century 21 Charles was chairman and owner of Combined Real Estate Pty Ltd and he brings more than 40 years' experience to the running of the Century 21 business today.
The philosophy of Charles Tarbey underpins the Century 21 ethos: We aim to be the best in the business, and we are continually striving to improve our service to customers.
Since 1994, Century 21 has become the fastest-growing real estate network in the Australasian region with hundreds of independently owned and operated offices throughout New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea.
